Our COMPOSITE ZINC OXIDE

Appearance:

Composite Zinc Oxide is characterized by its fine particles, which are precipitated zinc oxide coated on an inert core material. This unique composition gives it a distinctive white to light yellow powder appearance. The coating process enhances its properties, making it different from standard forms of zinc oxide in terms of reactivity and effectiveness.


Packing:

Ensuring the quality and integrity of Composite Zinc Oxide during transportation and storage is paramount. Therefore, it is meticulously packed in 25kg quantities using PP (polypropylene) woven bags, which are known for their durability and strength. Inside each woven bag, there's a PE (polyethylene) liner for added protection against moisture and other environmental factors. Furthermore, there's an additional PE inner bag, providing double security and maintaining the product's purity and effectiveness until it reaches the end user.


Uses and Properties:

Composite Zinc Oxide stands out due to its small particle sizes and high surface area, ranging from 20 to 50 m2/g. This enhanced surface area allows for better interaction with rubber compounds, leading to improved properties in the final product.

It’s particularly effective in applications requiring high durability and resistance to wear and tear, such as tires for various vehicles, rollers, and conveyor belts. These products benefit greatly from Composite Zinc Oxide’s ability to improve aging and abrasion resistance, key factors in extending the life of rubber products.

Moreover, the high surface area of Composite Zinc Oxide makes it ideal for use in transparent rubber products. It contributes to maintaining clarity while enhancing mechanical properties, making it suitable for rubber bands, shoe soles, and other transparent rubber goods.

In the realm of dry rubber and latex applications, Composite Zinc Oxide is a game-changer. It significantly enhances several critical properties, including modulus (the material’s stiffness), hardness (resistance to deformation), tensile strength (the maximum stress that a material can withstand while being stretched or pulled before failing or breaking), and elongation (the ability to be stretched without breaking). Additionally, it improves compression set (the ability of a material to return to its original thickness after a compressive force is removed), product and EVA transparency, and reduces air permeability and rolling resistance, which are crucial for high-performance rubber products. Lastly, its ability to increase UV resistance makes it an excellent choice for products exposed to sunlight, prolonging their life and maintaining their performance over time.
